As a Senior Designer & Interim Creative Director on the Creative/Brand Marketing Team for Proactiv, I was tasked with creating the initial branding and design of Proactiv Sun's "Clear Skin SPF-30," including the creation of a new logo and the introduction of the first new non-teal toned color to the Proactiv lineup. My responsibilities included developing PMS/HEX color guides, product/packaging artwork mechanicals and a series of design considerations for mineral based and probiotic based sunscreen options.

Collaborative Art Direction and Photography Management for Proactiv Clear Skin SPF-30 Launch
As a Senior Designer & Product Lead on the Creative/Brand Marketing Team for Proactiv, I played a key role in the art direction of promotional photoshoots for Proactiv Sun’s "Clear Skin SPF-30." I worked closely alongside the Creative Director to ensure the visual style and direction of the imagery aligned with the brand's identity and messaging. I co-directed the flow of the photoshoots, providing guidance on shot composition, lighting, and styling to achieve impactful, on-brand visuals as well as managed external retouching and 3-D rendering vendors to achieve on brand stylized artwork. Additionally, I managed the organization and delivery of all final assets, ensuring image processing, color accuracy, and consistency across digital and print materials. I also implemented an efficient asset management system, ensuring seamless access and distribution of high-quality images for both internal and external use.

Through these efforts, I helped create a cohesive and attractive shopping experience that maximized the product’s presence at both Ulta and Target locations.

I ensured that the product’s branding was consistently represented with high-quality, engaging imagery that enhanced the online shopping experience. Additionally, I collaborated with the e-commerce team to design promotional banners and optimize product pages for visual appeal and seamless user experience. My goal was to ensure Proactiv Sun’s branding stood out across digital retail platforms, driving customer engagement and increasing sales.

As a Senior Designer & Product Lead on the Creative/Brand Marketing Team for Proactiv, I collaborated closely with the Proactiv Japan team to design and launch Proactiv Sun, UV Protector for their market. This collaboration involved creating a unique logo and packaging design tailored specifically for Japan, including a market-specific version of the sunscreen with SPF-50. I ensured that the design elements were culturally relevant while maintaining the overall brand identity. My role also included managing cross-functional communication, incorporating feedback from the Japan team, and ensuring the product was successfully launched in early 2023.
